Helpful packing tips

Everything you need to know about what to pack and what to wear throughout the conference.

Attire Guide

Based on our itinerary, we've put together a guide to help you decode the attire recommendations.

Resort Casual

Men: Collared shirt or polo, dress shorts, khakis or linen trousers. Footwear should be neat but casual — sandals or loafers.

Women: Sundresses, skirts, dressy shorts, or capris paired with a blouse or top. Shoes can be sandals, flats, or low heels.

Tip: Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics — linen and cotton are your best friends in the Caribbean climate.

Beach Cocktail Chic

Men: Button-down or collared shirt with dress pants or tailored trousers. A blazer or sport coat is a great way to elevate the look. Loafers or boat shoes are ideal.

Women: Knee-length, midi, or maxi cocktail dress, stylish jumpsuit, or dressy skirt and top; dressy flats, wedges, or block heels are recommended.

Tip:  Add a light wrap, pashmina, or blazer for cooler evenings.

What to pack

Clothing for St. Vincent's Tropical Weather

  • Lightweight, breathable outfits for daytime

  • Resort casual attire for dinners

  • A light jacket or wrap for breezy evenings

  • Comfortable sandals or flats

  • Swimsuit + sun protection (hat, sunglasses, SPF)

  • Small umbrella or light rain layer, just in case

Expect warm, tropical weather throughout our time in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Daytime temperatures typically reach the low–mid 80s with sunshine and light ocean breezes, while evenings cool comfortably into the low 70s. A quick passing shower is always possible, but they’re usually brief.

Electronics & Power Needs

  • Type G travel adapter – St. Vincent uses UK-style outlets; a Type G adapter is recommended.

  • Voltage converter – if bringing items that aren’t dual-voltage (check hair tools).

  • Chargers for all devices – phone, tablet, camera, e-reader.

  • Portable power bank – for keeping devices charged during sightseeing.

Essentials

  • Passport – valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates

  • Printed & digital travel documents – copies of your passport and itineraries

  • Medications – in original packaging, plus a few extra days’ supply

  • Small first-aid kit – with basics like band-aids and pain relievers

  • Eastern Caribbean Dollars (XCD) - it's always good to have cash on hand; typically your bank will have the best exchange rates

Optional Extras

  • Binoculars – for site seeing or birdwatching

  • Travel journal – to record your island memories

  • Reusable water bottle – stay hydrated while sightseeing
